hal0 is open source under Apache-2.0 and developed in the open. It's pre-1.0 — the current line is a beta — so the contribution process is still settling. The honest state of things, below.
File an issue
Bugs, hardware-compat reports, and feature requests. Include your distro, Python version, and accelerator.

PRs are welcome. For anything non-trivial, open an issue first so we can agree on the shape before you build it.
